Tanzania Flag - Information

The flag of Tanzania consists of a yellow-edged black diagonal band divided diagonally from the lower hoist-side corner, with a green upper triangle and blue lower triangle.

As the countries of Tanganyika and Zanzibar were united to form Tanzania in 1964, their national flags were melded to create the new national flag of Tanzania and was adopted on 30 June 1964
